Na´Vi conquered the Intel Extreme Masters 4 World Championship title with a 2-0 win over fnatic in the final.
The first map, de_train, started out with fnatic as CT after winning the knife round and they began the brighter, as expected, taking the first two rounds, before Na´Vi's purchashing attempt in the third round paid off and powered them to gain a 4-2 lead. The Ukrainians then looked a bit off for large moments, which allowed fnatic to regain control of the action and brag a 10-5 half-time lead.
In the second half, Na´Vi took advantage of the fact they were now playing as CT to finally impose themselves, winning the first four rounds to put the match at 10-9 in favour of the Swedes. Several key rounds then followed, with neither side able to get over the other, until the scoreline was 13-13, when Na´Vi stepped up and won the last three rounds.
On de_inferno, fnatic lost out the pistol round but bounced back immediately after, which encouraged them to win three more rounds as the scoreboard showed 4-1 in their favour. A good round from Esenin gave Na´Vi a precious boost, with the Ukrainian team going on to level the match on four rounds. Though fnatic took the next three rounds, the Ukrainians still managed to put up a fight as they were down 8-7 at half time.
Na´Vi, who had switched to Terrorist, began collecting rounds in the early stages and getting dangerously close to a win as they found breaking down fnatic's seemingly-solid defence somewhat easy. With fnatic picking up just one round in the first even opportunities, their chances did not look good as they were constantly being forced to go on eco.
With the scoreline now 13-9 for Na´Vi, the Scandinavian team found a lifeline as they picked up three rounds in a row to reduce the deficit and keep themselves in the race. After Na´Vi had become just two rounds away from victory, fnatic eventually tied the match on 14 rounds, but the Ukrainians won the last two rounds to seal a 16-14 win and the victory in the tournament.
